I can’t decide if I love yesterday’s dress more or today’s, this was also a cheap find at the VV boutique, aka value village. I haven’t gone thrifting in awhile and I miss it but I am being so good because in eight days, I’ll be on a plane to the land of good wine, flaky croissants and delicious melt in your mouth macaroons! On another note, I just went to my second Socasize class and I feel like I worked off my breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Summer weather means my summer dresses get to come out and play! this is by far my favourite summer dress, it’s super breezy, forgiving and has the prettiest tribal pattern. I still remembered when I found it at Winners and it was such a steal! It’s a beautiful Wednesday night and I’m armed with two boxes of hair dye!

I’m IN LOVE with my mouse shoes, I’ve been dying over these for the past couple of years. I still remember when I set my eyes on a pair of Marc by Marc Jacob mouse shoes in Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. It’s been a long, tangled love affair of trying on, putting them back on the shelf and never buying them. Now I finally have a pair of bad ass ones to call my own!

I was really excited to go to Banh Mi Boys last week, having heard wonderful things about them and they did not disappoint. I ordered the braised beef cheek bao with pickled vegetables which was delicious. I love that I’m seeing lots of restaurants starting to incorporate baos into their menu. They’re fluffy and warm and remind me of my childhood! I also ordered the kalbi beef taco which had a kick to it. I probably should have just ordered either the bao or the taco but I thought they were going to be quite small seeing as they were so cheap (under $5). But they were actually quite large and filling. I also shared the kimchi fries with my friend. I love my NYC poutine but I think these kimchi fries just took their spot. It had a good kick to it and the texture between the crunchy fries and softer kimchi was perfect! Their house mayo also helped, this is a definite must try. It’s too bad they don’t do delivery, or I would definitely get it for late nights at work!

I scrounged this up from the bottom of my closet and was head over heels in love with it. The dress was from Matthew Williamson’s collection at H&M and I’m obviously also wearing the matching glasses! I feel so colourful and bright which matches the beautiful weather today!

These glittery shoes are the bomb! I felt like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz skipping down the yellow brick road all day, except I was just skipping on concrete to work. This week felt super short, it’s amazing that the weekend’s already here! I’ll be decorating a luau and doing a hula dance tomorrow and I might just share it with you. Have a lovely one, kiddies.
