I’ve got a new shopping agenda. No more fast fashion, meaning no more buying cheap trendy pieces. Instead, I’ll only be buying investment pieces in neutral colours to build a good, versatile closet. First up, this black and white DVF dress I picked up at Holt’s sale, I even made my way to Yorkdale to take advantage of the extra 20% off because of their construction!
I’m off to pack now, I’ll be spending the next week in a little slice of paradise.
dress: DVF / shoe: nine west / bracelet: design tun / bag: ysl / watch: michael kors
It’s been awhile since I’ve graduated…but it’s never too late to change my beauty habits from when I was a teenager! My biggest offense? I can’t seem to leave my eyebrows alone! Just ask my cousins, I was obsessed with eyebrows at a young age so that I would chase them down with a pair of tweezers to pluck their eyebrows! Check out my illustrations over at Glow.ca!
I got the chance to create a DIY for Weddingbells for their fall/winter issue. These confetti poppers are so easy to make and so fun to pop. Here’s their online post on a step by step tutorial and to download these patterns I made!
After Lisa and Dave’s engagement cards, comes the save the dates! I designed three options for them to choose but they ended up loving all three, so I created a series for them. They’re having their wedding at Liuna Station which has art deco elements, and also happens to be one of Dave’s (and mine!) favourite eras. I drew inspiration from that and these beautiful chandeliers. I’m already itching to design their actual invitations!
