love it

jonathan adlerDaniel bought back for me from LA these adorable unicorn salt and pepper shakers by Jonathan Adler. He knows me too well, awesome box, check, unicorns, check, home decor, check. Did you know I’ve been wanting to dress up as a unicorn for the past three Halloweens?

I’ve always loved Jonathan Adler’s designs and it’s hard to say no to awesome packaging! Here are a couple of other items I love.
I’ve been looking for a rug for my living room, this pattern would be perfect.
While admiring my rug, I would drink earl grey out of this teapot.
I would then prop my feet up on this pouf, and it’s gold, my favourite colour!

the sweet truthAwhile ago, I was asked to design small cards for my friend’s mom for her start up baking business in Kenya. I was so excited to work on it since I go gaga over packaging and labels! It’s always such an honour to be asked and they were so sweet and wonderful to work with.

priaia piquiniaI fell in love with Christian Chaize‘s Praia Piquinia series the first time I laid eyes on it. He goes on an annual trip to this beach in Portugal and to create a series about “contemplation on time: passing, stretching, evolving, as well as standing still in a photographic image.” There’s something so romantic about this photographic journey and the documentation of the passing of time. While I won’t be able to afford of his prints for a very very long time, I am excited to have ordered his book, Time & Tide Photographs of Praia Piquinia.

thank you cardsI got the chance to design thank you cards for Kyla and Darius’ dreamy destination wedding in Aruba. The thank you cards are in the form of stamps since her save the dates and invitation were luggage tags and postcards. And did I mention Kyla was the sweetest bride! She brought me home made gluten free chocolate balls when she came to pick up her cards! Looking at that beach is making me want to take another vacation already!
