I picked up this cute denim dress at nasty gal awhile back when they had a crazy sale. Always remember, it’s not a sale unless it’s 50% off! It’s cut out at the back but it’s still too cold to be going bare back so I layered it with my sweater blanket.

San Francisco was a blast, we literally ate breakfast, walked to lunch, ate lunch, walked to dinner, ate dinner along with snack pit stops peppered along the way. Look for my upcoming recommendations for food in San Francisco. For now, I’ll tease you with my instagrams of the city by the bay.

I was obsessed with the envelope bag from Kate Spade awhile ago, and lo and behold I found it at the Paragon Outlet! I couldn’t help myself and got the matching wallet.

diy it: potato chip cookie with labels

Everyone should have a baking recipe to fall back on, something that they can whip up at a moment’s notice. For me that’s Smitten Kitchen’s Potato Chip Cookie recipe. For our work’s Valentine’s Day bake sale, I took the trusty recipe and revamped it. I made the dough sans potato chips, divided it into thirds and subbed in barbecue chips, ketchup chips and sour cream and onion chips instead of regular chips. I bought heart plastic bags from Dollarama, made labels, folded them in half and stapled it to the bags. Voila, so simple but the little detail made such an impression. They were a hit and so fun to make!

I also couldn’t help myself and added a couple more letters to my marquee from Babes & Gems and made a blinking bake sale sign!
