eat it: chantecler

A while ago, I had a date with two lovely ladies and we were going to head to Grand Electric but after seeing the line up, we headed two doors down to Chantecler instead. Their interior was cute and quaint and won me over. I had read their review on blogto before and decided to give this Asian fusion a chance.
We had the pacific cod, gnocchi, seared pork neck and beef cheeks. They were all super tasty and didn’t have a hint of the cheesy “asian fusion” you get at other places. Definitely a joint I would hit up again!

It’s a short week this week and I’m taking an extra long weekend. I don’t have much planned but I’m really excited for all the relaxation!

The redesign of Glow is out! Have you got yours yet? Pick it up at Shoppers Drug Mart or at a news stand! I wake up everyday so thankful to get to work on such an amazing magazine with such talented peeps. And the creativity that happens with the magazine makes me so pumped to get to work every day. The saying is true, “find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

The photographer that took the images for “What does your past smell like” is Natasha V, she’s super talented! I still remembered when she came into my editorial class at OCADU to talk to us and I had hoped to work with her one day. And couple of years later, I did! Dreams do come true!

It’s finally the weekend and it’s freezing outside! I just want to crawl back into bed now and dream about my Europe trip!
