I use to have an obsession with tiaras in high school. I literally came to school every day with a different tiara. I swear I’m not a princess, okay maybe just a little. When I saw this awesome spike headband one at top shop, I was all over it.

I’ve been house sitting this week in a very wonderful part of Toronto and loving every minute of it. The first night though, trying to cook dinner and meandering through a foreign kitchen was frustrating. I called my mom in exasperation complaining about how I couldn’t find this, didn’t know how to work that and couldn’t tell if the broccoli was cooked through. My mom laughed at me and took me through step by step and her voice calmed me down. Even though I no longer am a child, my mom is still the first person I think of whenever I need help. This Sunday is mother’s day, but just like what they say about Valentine’s day, every day should be mother’s day.
